Huntington's Disease

Lenny

Dear Fred May 15,2002

As you know, my dad is 88 years old, has suffered with Huntington's Disease for 25 years. As he was a professional chef, he has not been able to hold a frying pan in his hands over 25 years. He has been feeble and unable to stand up for a very long time, he held on to everything to help him walk, including our shirts. Lenny has been taking these vitamins to help his polyps, and it is working.

My son got married on Feb 16,2002. My dad came to stay with us. Meanwhile, the next day, February 17, 2002, my dad asked him what these vitamins were, and he wanted to try it. We pacified him by giving him 5 pills, then 5 more at the dinner table.

The next morning, he woke up, no shaking and he was very stable, this was the first time in 25 years. It was strange because it was like he never had it, I figured that it would go back to the way it was after a short while, so I did not get my hopes up.

To this day, dad has been fine, never shakes anymore, and he walks better than I can remember. Never in a million years would I ever think that would happen.

This is what is funnier. My mother in law has had rheumatoid arthritis many years. She started the vitamins two months ago, and now she walks around showing everyone how straight her fingers are now, and that she is no longer in any pain.

UPDATE: Unfortunately, his wife had fallen in January 2003, broke her hip, she went into a coma. He was told that she would not survive. Meanwhile, he was so distraught by this, he chain smoked 4 packs daily, stopped his vitamins and all medications immediately, he said he wanted to die and be with her. He passed away early in March 2003. She is still alive, it was very sad, mind over matter prevailed.

The mother-in-law with Rheumatoid Arthritus is doing very well
